Our history
1956
The Escudo de Oro group launches its activity in the souvenir industry as a company engaged photography, with the postcard as its flagship product.
1968
The firm publishes its first souvenir book in the legendary Todo (“All”) collection. This first publication is followed by other collections of guides to monuments, cities, regions and countries. The group now boasts nearly 500 titles.
Spain and the rest of Europe and America are the places where our brand has its greatest presence.
2008
The SMILE group joins Escudo de Oro.
Together, we embark on a hugely successful activity, producing and marketing a wide range of souvenir articles. Much more than paper, they include:
